Program Description

“Decision Point Center:  Lifelong Recovery”

Decision Point is a licensed, cutting-edge treatment center that provides long term care for men and women ages 18 and up.   Our program is designed to work with chronic relapse behaviors, substance abuse disorders, process addictions, compulsive behaviors, mental health issues, codependency, and trauma.  The program is designed for clients who need a continuum of care beyond the traditional 30-day model used by many treatment centers.

The Decision Point model engages the whole person, mind, body and spirit. We help our clients build new lives through adventure therapy, equine therapy, nutrition and wellness, and trauma resolution, along with a full range of traditional therapies.  Our program is rooted in the 12 steps and we teach our clients how to have fun in recovery.

We believe addictive behaviors are dysfunctional coping mechanisms used to medicate and escape from pain, shame and trauma. Over time, these dysfunctional behaviors bloom into the progressive and fatal disease of addiction. Through our holistic, comprehensive, individualized approach to treatment, our clients identify and address the core issues feeding their addictive behaviors, addressing both the cause of the behaviors and the behaviors themselves.

We help our clients integrate the skills and tools they need to maintain a healthy and sober lifestyle post-treatment through our “Challenge Program,” while encouraging them to continue their education and/or move back into the work force.   We’re located in Prescott, the “Recovery Capital of Arizona,” and our community offers a wide range of excellent education opportunities through local and state Universities as well as volunteer and vocational placements.

Our experienced, professional staff guides clients through the transformative work of recovery while affirming their dignity and respect. We challenge our clients to discover and use their personal strengths in order to meet their goals and achieve lifelong recovery.
