Rogers Memorial is a nonprofit hospital with specialized residential treatment centers that provide sensitive, age-specific intensive psychiatric care for children and teens dealing with a broad spectrum of mental health issues. Treatment services are directed by board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists who are on-site daily. The hospital is one of the few places in the country that offers intensive cognitive behavioral therapy services for children and teens.
The Child & Adolescent Centers deliver a true multi-modal treatment program that combines the intensity of inpatient psychiatric care with a comprehensive range of psychotherapy, psycho education, experiential therapies and strong parent/family education and involvement. Our in-depth psychiatric assessment includes medical, educational, developmental and social history, which is used to develop a personalized plan of care to address each child’s specific needs. Psychological testing is also done when indicated. Treatment components are evidence-based, with results tracked in ongoing outcome studies. High staff to patient ratios ensures that the highest quality treatment is provided in the most personal way. Certified, experienced staff include: child & adolescent psychiatrists; licensed psychologists; masters level psychotherapists; experiential and art therapists; behavioral specialists; substance abuse counselor; registered dietitian; registered nurses; and certified teachers/school liaison. Staff maintains ongoing contact with the referring professionals and provides aftercare planning, school advocacy and coordination of special education needs. Rogers Memorial works with most managed care companies in order to provide the best financial options to the most people.
